I hate midterms. [Nov. 6th, 2003|08:32 pm]

I used to love tests.

Now all I'm thinking is "heaven help me on the curve"

I thought I was pretty well prepared for this one, consider that I've had no time to do homework. But there's no way I got better than about an 80, and more likely a 70.

I should probably be happy with that. I mean... I literally have done no homework for that class since the last midterm. I don't really deserve to be pulling an A. But I thought I was ready. *sigh*

I really hate having to rely on the curve. I want to get a B in there... now it comes down to the final.

I want this semester to end. I don't really like any of my classes, and I'm looking forward to the stuff I'm gonna take next semester. *sigh*

I'm on the opposite end of things. I just want the boring classes where I already know 90% of the material to be over with. I actually want to LEARN something. :P

I love learning things... that I want to learn.

There are a few topics in this calc class that really interest me... Taylor Series (well, really MacLaurin(?) series, but) are so cool. I love the idea that some number like e is expressable by 2 + 1/2! + 1/3! + 1/4! + 1/5! + ... 1/n!, and other numbers are expressable in similar ways.

Other things are just boring, whether I know them or are really not interested.

It looks like I'm going to have to take CS367 next semester... and I'm ready to be bored out of my mind. =\

But... *shrug* there's always some bs to go through. *shrug*

Cannot wait until next semester.
