4 is Pink Floyd, 11 is Jewel, 15 Eagles, 16 Indigo Girls and 18 is NIN.
I believe #1 is A Little Fall of Rain from Les Miserables. At least, it's that theme. I also believe #18 is Closer by NIN. I also got #3 and #15, which have already been identified above.
And I don't know what song #20 is, but when I see it, Take Me Home Tonight by Eddie Money pops into my head. I think it's just the rhyme scheme. Either way, it's damned annoying.
haha, you got that stuck in your head too?
well, let's see, most of them already got covered...
i knew 3, 4, 9 (cranberries, dreams), 11, 12 (pearl jam, jeremy, though tricky since it's hard to understand that part), 15, and 18.
And after reading taeli
's comment again, #11 is, I believe, You Were Meant For Me by Jewel. I should have gotten that song on the first time through, but I didn't. :P
#1 is from the Les Miserables finale, as Valjean is dying (I love the Eponine/Fantine duet!).
I don't know any of the other still unknown songs.
According to my copy of Les Mis, you are correct, sir! The last song is called Finale. I didn't google for it, but I did rely on the lyrics sheet of my copy of the recording. Alternatively, I could have just listened to the mp3s. I just didn't think that was kosher, but I guess the rules only specifically prohibit online searches.
Are you insinuating that I used some technique other than pure memory to obtain the answer? Lies!
No, I'm insinuating that *I* used some technique other than pure memory to obtain the answer. I would never slander you, oh great slayer of the crystalline Jesus.
#8 is from 2112 by Rush at the end of the dream movement
Just think of what my life I'd lead
In a world like I have seen.
I don't think I can carry on
Carry on this cold and empty life...
Or something like that, it has been many years since I have heard it.
Oh, and 4 is Hey You off of The Wall since the song hasn't yet been mentioned.
what, you're too good to give me credit for pearl jam? :-b
#17 is Roxette, either "Dangerous" "A Little Bit Dangerous," don't remember for sure.
I played the Les Mis pit two years ago . . . dammit, is #1 either "Finale" or "Epilogue"? I'm leaning towards the latter, but it's just part of a long damn string of wrapping-up melodies that lead into "Do You Hear the People Sing," which I know everyone already knows anyway.
